ABOUT US
Montez Boxing Club was founded by Franco Montez, a passionate boxer who turned his dream into reality. Growing up as a small, skinny kid who often stood up to bullies and defended those being bullied, Franco found his inspiration in boxing after watching the legendary match between Mike Tyson and Frank Bruno in 1996. Despite facing financial hardships and starting his boxing journey later in life at 18, Franco's determination and the unwavering support from his mother fueled his drive to succeed.

With the mentorship of renowned coaches Dexter Benjamin and Pucho R. Laporte Jr., Franco honed his skills and knowledge in boxing. In 2021, he established Montez Boxing Club to share his love for the sport and provide opportunities for others to learn and grow.
