Founder & Owner of Montez Boxing Club

At Montez Boxing Club, we are proud to continue the legacy of Carmen Ayala, who inspired our founder's dream to become a boxer. With a passion for the beautiful and scientific craft of boxing, our founder started studying and practicing at the age of 18, determined to learn everything he could about the sport inside and outside of the ring.

Despite a late start, our founder was fortunate enough to work with two solid mentors and coaches, Dexter Benjamin and Pucho LaPorte, who instilled in him a deep love and respect for the craft of boxing. With years of knowledge and experience under his belt, he wanted to give back to the boxing community by opening his own club.

At Montez Boxing Club, our mission is to provide an affordable and supportive team environment for anyone who wants to learn, grow, and showcase their skills in or out of the ring. With a commitment to excellence and a dedication to our members, we strive to be the best boxing club in the area.
